This is my first "realistic vector"! I've been working on this picture on and off since February 2005. hahahaha I'm sure it doesn't show at all. D: Oh well.

I vectored the entire thing from scratch with the pen tool (i.e. no "live tracing" or anything, just lots and lots of manual tracing ). Here's a screencap of all the paths! [link] (I always think these path pics look so neato )

I know it's not the bestest vector ever, but this is my first (and probably last, haha at least, for now.) "realistic vector", so I triededed. Actually, while I used the term "realistic vector", I should clarify that I just mean "non-supppahhh deformed" vector, like most of my cartoony/simple character designs; I wanted it to look somewhat realistic, but not photo realistic, as I wanted to give the picture some 2D/flat aspects. So yes.

^{Also, if I had gone the "photo realistic"-route, I would probably end up working on the damn picture for decades, as my slow ass + psycho perfectionism would never deem it "done". But yes, I do like its pseudo-realistic look.}

I usually don't put watermarks on my stuff, but since, you know, loosely two years worth of work here, I figured I'd take some precautions. (not like anyone will care. )

So yes, this is my 100TH DEVIATION SPECTACULARRRRR that I've been mentioning for the past few months. As noted here: [link coming soon] it is the most anticlimactic event of 2007, I know. (everyone: "IS THAT ALL??") My apologies for letting everyone down. haha

To anyone that's like "OMG SHE'S ALIVE AGAIN": I will hopefully be posting a journal soon about the state of things with me, but to summarize: I have a computer again, I'm attempting to be productive but failing, and the other usual crap.
